University displays its latest exhibit
Paintings and drawings of Native American plants and artifacts in the Schingoethe Center for Native American Culture are featured in the exhibit "Field Sketches Inspired by Aurora University's Schingoethe Center."
The exhibit, by The Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, Great Lakes Chapter, will be displayed Wednesday to Jan. 4 in the Schingoethe Center at Dunham Hall, 1400 Marseillaise Place, Aurora.

Program to focus on teen behavior
Parents will learn about "Risky Behavior: What's at Stake and How to Prevent It" when Dr. Andrea G. Barthwell talks at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent Blvd., Glen Ellyn.
The meeting is sponsored by the Glenbard High School District 87 and features Barthwell, who served on the White House Task Force on Disadvantaged Youth and Domestic Violence Working Group.
The program will focus on drugs and their affect on teens. A parents discussion group will meet at 6 p.m.

Yuletide Treasures offers unique gifts
The DuPage Art League is holding its annual Yuletide Treasures through December at the gallery, 218 W. Front St., Wheaton. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and Saturday.

Annual event offers world marketplace
