Briefs: Illegal tobacco sale citation

Glendale Heights police cited Valentina Tobacco Store, 217 E. Army Trail Road, for selling tobacco to a minor during a village-wide compliance check of 32 tobacco sellers Monday. Employee Tale Salim Aburukbeh, 29, of Chicago was the individual who sold tobacco, police said. Any discovered violations result in a fine of $10 to $750 to the seller or owner.

Winter hours at settlement

The winter season begins today at Naper Settlement, the 19th-century living history museum at 523 S. Webster St., Naperville. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Holidazzle at Edward

The Edward Foundation's 18th annual Holidazzle craft show, silent auction, raffle and bake sale takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday in the South Lobby of Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St., Naperville. More than 50 crafters will sell their wares and raffle prizes will be given away.
