Thanks to all for food drive help

A big thank you to all the volunteers and all the citizens of Wauconda and Island Lake who so generously donated to our Make-A-Difference-Day food drive. Also, thanks to Jewel food store and Island Foods for allowing the use of their facilities. We collected about 5,000 pounds of food and $621, which will be used for meat, cheese and juice.

The people at the food pantry were delighted.
