Modano leads Dallas to victory; Sabres win

Mike Modano scored his second goal of the game 35 seconds into overtime, Marty Turco made 23 saves and Dallas beat the host New York Islanders 3-2 Monday night for the Stars' sixth straight win.

Modano knocked in a rebound from the slot of Stephane Robidas' shot to give the Stars' their first win over the Islanders since March 23, 2001.
