Naperville police looking for robbery suspect

Naperville police are searching for a man who threatened to harm a customer Friday afternoon and then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash from a pharmacy at 644 N. Route 59.

Police said they responded at 12:04 p.m. to a report of a robbery at the CVS Pharmacy.

They said the man grabbed a customer in the store and threatened to harm her if the clerk refused to give him money.

The man fled without hurting anyone after the clerk gave him cash. No weapon was displayed during the incident, police said.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He was wearing a black hip-length coat, a black knit stocking cap, dark gloves, khaki pants and black shoes.

He was last seen running south from the store. Police said they searched the area but were unable to find him.
