NFL players do their part
Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Ronde Barber and Carolina Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme are appearing in public service announcements as part of the NFL's partnership with Lifetime Television in its "Stop Breast Cancer for Life" campaign.
The spots will air on the network this month.
Barber wanted to honor his mother, Geraldine, a breast cancer survivor, while Delhomme focuses on family members who had the disease.
A PSA starring "The Nanny" actress and breast cancer survivor Fran Drescher will also be played on in-stadium video boards during NFL games this month.
