Aurora man charged in shooting

A 30-year-old Aurora man is facing attempted murder charges following a weekend shooting in Warrenville that left three people injured.

Ignacio C. Rosario, of 534 Hoyles Ave., has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm, Warrenville police announced today.

Rosario was arrested early Saturday after a shooting that happened near Prairie Avenue and Patterman Road.

Three people were transported to area hospitals after police arrived shortly after 3 a.m. Police did not know the conditions of the three shooting victims, but said the injuries didn't appear to be life threatening.

Officers found Rosario near the scene, authorities said.

Rosario is being held in the DuPage County jail on $2 million bond.
