Streamwood Lions Club: The Streamwood Lions Club will be on street corners accepting donations today and Saturday to fund vision and hearing programs and services for men, women and children locally and nationally. The Streamwood Lions Club meets at 7 p.m., on the second Monday of each month, at Poplar Creek Library, 1405 S. Park Blvd., Streamwood. Visitors welcome. Call Bob at (630) 213-0551.

Bartlett Adult Chorus: If you sing and read music, you are welcome to join the Bartlett Adult Chorus as it begins its fall rehearsals. The group, sponsored by Arts in Bartlett, meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday, in the lower level community room, at Victory Centre, Route 59 and West Bartlett Road. All ranges of voices, male and female, are needed. Call Rita at (630) 213-0100 or e-mail rlopienski@pathwayseniorliving.com.
