Call goes out to encourage calls from you -- Bartlett, Hanover Park
I'm putting out a request to Bartlett and Hanover Park residents who'd like to put in their two cents: talk to me.
I've been reporting on these neighboring towns for a few months now, and the vast majority of the really interesting and newsworthy stories have come from you.
So tell me what's going on and what you'd like to know.
What issues keep you up at night? What do you see as the challenges facing your town? What merits the public's attention?
Or, on a lighter note, what do you enjoy about living in Bartlett or Hanover Park? Where's your favorite spot to hang out? Is there a story people ought to hear?
Your Streamwood reporter, Eric, has been around for a while and is a bit more up to speed.
I, on the other hand, will benefit from any insight into the goings on in Bartlett and Hanover Park -- however big or small. Please contact me at (847) 427-4472 or kpohl@dailyherald.com.

Big draw at art fair: Anita Komorski of the Ontarioville Art & Music League reports last month's inaugural Ontarioville Fine Arts Fair in Hanover Park was a success, drawing more than 400 people who bought more than $4,000 worth of art. Organizers said the modest event was a practice run for next year's more ambitious fair, which will coincide with Hanover Park's 50th anniversary celebration.
