Abuse of power; generous pay hike

On the very day the DuPage County Forest District abused its eminent domain powers against the Jemsek--Hinkley family, owners of the St. Andrews Golf Course property, they gave their executive director, Brent Manning, a big fat pay raise. As a DuPage County resident and taxpayer I find these actions disgusting! The next time the forest district commissioners ask us taxpayers for our hard-earned dollars we need to vote no! We should also seriously think about replacing these characters come Election Day.
