Taxpayers don't matter to board

I am a resident of Bartlett (DuPage side) for almost 30 years and I have never seen such an incompetent school board and president since I have lived here with my family and my children going through the (Elgin Area School District) U-46 schools. Who are these school board members representing anyway?

When it comes to the taxpayers' hard-earned money, there seems to be no limit on expenses. This Connie Neale contract is sure incompetence, and the same school board president is still in office calling the shots. Even the new school board members go right along with business as usual knowing the superintendent was going to retire and the school board gives her a $400,000-plus salary plus a $1 million going-away present at our expense, well knowing she was going to retire as soon as her contract was signed, sealed and delivered.

All these school board members should be fired, including the board president. I know that most of the people in Elgin, Bartlett, Carol Stream, Hanover Park and St. Charles are not millionaires, but I guess that the school board thinks they are.

All of these people who ran the school board before this group of clowns had the same good-old-boys mentality as the people who run the village of Bartlett. These people think they own the town, but what we need is a new sheriff in town and run them all out of office. One little thing most people don't know about the good old boys and girls is that when you move out of Bartlett you have to pay an exit tax to the village to move out of this mess, and I am not just talking about dollars but hundreds of dollars. Have to wait to see who wants our dollars next if you have any left.
