The $68 million budget projects increased revenue driven by district growth and raises spending levels to accommodate that growth. The document will not be the district's final budget, which will be approved after state lawmakers and the governor agree to a budget. The District 158 budget was approved with conservative increase in state aid based on the Consumer Price Index. The budget also includes $1 million in state aid the district should receive but has not yet gotten because of an ongoing issue it is working to resolve.
