Daddy-Daughter Date Night: Young ladies can bring their dads to an enchanted forest on Friday. Dress in your favorite fairy gown or costume. Fee is $49 per couple -- $18 for each additional girl -- and includes a photo package of each couple.
Register under the girl's name only. Daddy-daughter date night is scheduled for from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. and will be held at Friendship Park Conservatory.
Family Cycle Challenge: A family biking event designed to make use of collective skills will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Groups will bicycle seven miles to nine locations throughout the park district.
Each location will present a challenge in the form of puzzles to solve, clues to uncover or obstacles to overcome. Each task must be completed before moving on. Discover just how well your family can work together toward a common goal.
The event will begin and end at Lions Recreation Center. Fee is $5 per person in advance or $7 per person day of event.
Wedding Party Boot Camp: Brides and grooms, their families and bridal party are invited to an intense 12-week program, beginning Oct. 8, to get in shape for the big day. Classes meet from 8 to 9 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at RecPlex.
Each enlisted recruit will receive a Boot Camp T-shirt (required uniform) and will meet three times a week for a combination of rigorous conditioning, toning and aerobic workouts, including an individual fitness assessment.

New Group Fitness Passport Classes: Two new offerings are available in Mount Prospect Park District's group fitness passport classes.
Zumba, the newest fitness dance craze, is a fusion of Latin and International dance themes. Zumba combines high-energy dance moves and slower fitness intervals to maximize caloric output, increase fat burning and tone your entire body.
Ballet Buff teaches traditional ballet workouts to strengthen your core and tone your entire body while improving coordination, posture and flexibility. Ballet dancing is not a part of this class.
Fitness passport classes are your entry to participate in any of the group fitness classes during a 17-week period. No need to register for a specific class, you can attend any passport class you wish.
Passport fees start at $75; $57 for seniors and youth. They entitle the passport holder to attend any 17 classes.

Only walk-in registration is accepted for group fitness passport classes. All classes are held at RecPlex, 420 W. Dempster, Mount Prospect. Ask about the passport discount if you already hold or are purchasing a one-year all facility, fitness center or plus pass.
Hill Street Nature Center Challenge Course: ŒThe Challenge Course at Hill Street Nature Center, located in a park and wildlife sanctuary, offers a 10-station challenge that will engage your group in problem-solving and risk-taking games designed to help them work together toward a common goal.
Trained facilitators lead your group in challenges that will help them discover that they can accomplish more together than they can individually. Call for information and available dates.
