Lake County briefs: County strategic plan
Transportation, criminal justice, water and economic development are the four initiatives Lake County officials will address in its short-term strategic plan. The plan, adopted by the county board Tuesday, is a result of three retreats by board members to discuss issues most important to them and their constituents. The issues were picked as short-term priorities because it is expected that progress can be made within three years. Staff now will develop plans to address each of the priorities.
