'Thoroughly Modern Millie' trip promises day of fun

The Sensational Trips and Tours program at McHenry County College is now accepting registration for a trip to Fort Atkinson, Wis., to see the Broadway musical "Thoroughly Modern Millie," from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Fireside Dinner Theatre.

This tuneful, bright-hearted musical won five 2002 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. This stage version of the smash hit movie takes the heroine, Millie, through a series of hilarious trials and adventures.

The $80 cost includes lunch as well as time to browse the shops at the Fireside Dinner Theatre.
