Glen Ellyn Golden Eagles 90-pound Silver White: The Golden Eagles shut out their second straight opponent, beating the Wheaton Rams Red 18-0.

The defense was outstanding, with 2 sacks by Toby Braun and big hits delivered by Riley Green, Evan Berry and Mike Reilley. The Eagles caused 4 turnovers, including 3 fumbles recovered by Michael Leppert, Shawn Mackey and Dirk Gillespie. Tyler Morrow intercepted a pass.

Glen Ellyn's offense, led by quarterback Matt Hanson and running backs Mackey and Reilley, executed the quarterback option play leading to the first touchdown of the game. Mackey ran for 2 touchdowns and Reilley ran in a score.

The Golden Eagles continued their winning streak with a 30-0 victory over the Elmhurst Eagles Sept. 22. Morrow, Nicholas Reuth and Nick Diver all made big tackles in the win. Patrick Mudge and Ethan Speich pressured the quarterback.

Mackey scored 3 touchdowns and Reilley 1 touchdown. Dylan Moon and Green scored conversions. Reilley had an interception.
