Pedestrian killed in Bolingbrook

Bolingbrook police are asking residents for help as they investigate a fatal accident early this morning on Briarcliff Road at Annerino Drive.

Police said they received a report at 2:40 a.m. of a "man down" in the roadway.

Responding officers found the body of Ronnie Lyles, 41, of the 400 block of Rockhurst Road.

Police said it appears Lyles was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Briarcliff.

Witnesses believe the vehicle was a smaller, older, dark-colored car that may have had four doors. There is no driver description at this time.
