Holiday Bazaar in Schaumburg

Get a head start on your holiday shopping at the annual Schaumburg Park Foundation's Holiday Bazaar from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the Schaumburg Corporate Center, 1515 E. Woodfield Road. Whole Foods to help Little City residents

Little City Foundation is joining forces with Whole Foods Market in Palatine to help collect clothing and household items that will be used to raise funds for the nonprofit organization that serves children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The collection drive will take place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at the Whole Foods Market, 1331 N. Rand Road. Items needed include clothing, shoes, toys, purses, linens, accessories, books, housewares and small household items. All items should be in good condition and working order. Aging council offers info on Medicare

The Barrington Area Council on Aging is now scheduling Medicare Part D consultation appointments through Friday, Dec. 5. The annual open enrollment period for Medicare runs through Dec. 31. Enrollees can switch their Medicare Part D plan or enroll in a plan for the first time. For those who want to change their plan or need more information about their plan, call BACOA at (847) 381-5030 to schedule an appointment.
