Thanks for help with food drive

A big thank you to all the volunteers and all the citizens of Wauconda and Island Lake who so generously donated to our Make A Difference Day food drive. Also thanks to Jewel Food Store and Island Foods for allowing the use of their facilities. We collected about 3,500 pounds of food and $438.00 in cash, which can be used for milk, meat, eggs, etc. The people at the food pantry were delighted. Looking forward to next year. Thanks again.
