Tchaikovsky's beloved ballet 'The Nutcracker' as a holiday tradition will be performed at these area locations:

Chicago Festival Ballet: Von Heidecke Chicago Festival Ballet presents its 19th "Nutcracker" at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, at the Rialto Square Theatre, 15 E. Van Buren St., Joliet; 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn; and 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 20-21, at the McAninch Arts Center.
