Construction law seminar set at MCC

Construction industry professionals are invited to attend a Construction Law Seminar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19 at McHenry County College University Center, 100 S. Main St., Crystal Lake.

This seminar will give members of construction companies a refresher on the fundamentals of construction law and procedures. The seminar will focus on one of the most important construction industry issues - getting paid.

The seminar will be presented by attorney David McArdle of Zukowski, Flood & McArdle. He will explain the issues of construction law in the context of public and private sector projects. Topics will include contract clauses, lien and bond claims, dispute resolution alternatives, insurance and indemnification.
