Bartlett police arrest 3 after 2 bar fights on same night
Bartlett police were busy over the weekend arresting three men over the course of an hour after two unrelated fistfights at a popular late-night hot spot.
The bar fights happened in the early morning hours on Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Cadillac Ranch, 1175 W. Lake St. All three men were charged with misdemeanor battery, Sgt. Geoffrey Pretkelis said.
Justin L. Serpa, 23, of 132 Terry Drive in Sugar Grove, and Jessie L. Jenkins, 28, of 2091 Best Place No. 4 in Aurora were arrested around 2:20 a.m. after a report of a fight with multiple participants, Pretkelis said. A male would-be customer told officers he was attacked by the pair while standing in line outside the bar, Pretkelis said. Paramedics took him to a hospital with minor injuries, Pretkelis added.
About an hour later, police returned to the bar after reports of another unrelated fight, again involving several customers, Pretkelis said.
Craig C. Consoer Jr., 38, of 815 Larson Ave. in Streamwood, was arrested after he attacked a male customer inside the bar, Pretkelis said. The victim was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries, he added.
All three were released on bond and given a Dec. 18 court date in Rolling Meadows.
