Arlington Heights

• Andrew P. Barker, 19, 1713 E. Lilac Terrace, Arlington Heights; Timothy R. Peterson, 20, 604 W. Maude Ave., Arlington Heights; and Kevin Coons, 20, 933 N. Highland, Arlington Heights, were arrested around 4 p.m. Nov. 5 in a car on the 600 block of North Highland. Barker was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and possession of marijuana. Passengers Peterson and Coons were charged with possession of marijuana. A court date is Dec. 15.

• Edwin Oliva, 21, 2014 W. Algonquin Road, Mount Prospect, was arrested around 840 p.m. Nov. 7 after a traffic stop at Algonquin and Arlington Heights roads; he was charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. His court date is Dec. 18.

• A 78-year-old woman on the 300 block of North Dryden Place was robbed of jewelry and money valued at about $1,100, after she let a stranger into her house who claimed he wanted to do landscape work for her. The man knocked around 3 p.m. Nov. 7, and walked with her to the rear patio. She became suspicious and told him to leave; later she noticed a ring and money missing from a bedroom closet and dresser.

• A 1995 Honda Accord on the 700 block of Kingsbury Court was vandalized Oct. 31 and again Nov. 5; damage was estimated at $500.

• Two cars were broken into while parked at a restaurant on the 1300 block of West Dundee Road around 9 p.m. Nov. 8. A $200 cell phone was taken out of a 2002 Lincoln Town Car and a GPS unit was stolen from a 2008 Toyota Camry.

• A 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis on the 500 block of Happfield Drive was broken into overnight Nov. 6-7; a GPS unit was taken. Total loss was estimated at $400.

Buffalo Grove

• Javier Ramirez, 24, 852 Colonial Drive, Wheeling, was arrested around 12:10 a.m. Nov. 10 and charged with criminal damage to property after police say he broke the front door at Rack Em' Up, 312 N. McHenry Road. His court date is Nov. 28.

• Burglars stole a $1,000 hammer drill out of a home being remodeled on the 200 block of Windsor Drive. between 5 p.m. Nov. 7 and 9 a.m. Nov. 8.

Des Plaines

• Eleazar Nunez, 36, 2436 S. 11th Ave., Broadview, was arrested around 6:35 p.m. Nov. 9 after he crashed his 2001 Chyrsler Sebing on the 1900 block of South River Road and fled in a tan van. He was found on the 2800 block of South Eisenhower Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), traffic violations, and driving under the influence of alcohol. His court date is Nov. 18.

• Tina T. Leflore, 33, 1816 S. Mannheim Road, Des Plaines, was arrested around 11:15 p.m. Nov. 7 on the 2000 block of South Mannheim Road and charged with possession of marijuana and traffic violations. Her court date is Dec. 18.

• A red 2002 Volvo tractor valued at $51,000 was stolen between noon Nov. 6 and 8 a.m. Nov. 7 from a parking lot at 1801 S. Elmhurst Road.

• Burglars broke into a home on the 2100 block of Douglas Avenue between 9:30 p.m. Nov. 8 and 7:55 p.m. Nov. 9 and stole gold jewelry and coins valued altogether at $20,650. Burglars broke the front wooden door frame and jamb to get inside.

• Burglars broke into a 1995 Ford Econoline van on the 1500 block of Hills Avenue between 1:30 and 7 a.m. Nov. 7 and stole three power saws, a hammer drill and a finish gun; total loss was valued at $1,310.

Mount Prospect

• Fifteen partygoers were arrested around 11:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at 132 N. Horner Lane after officers responded to a loud party complaint. Jaime Wegener, 20, 132 N. Horner Lane, Mount Prospect, was charged with use of premises for an underage person to consume alcoholic beverages and consumption of alcohol by a minor. G, Des Plaines; Eric Grange, 19, 1104 Stratford, Arlington Heights; Andrea Ganshirt, 18, 1818 N. Verde Ave., Arlington Heights; Erik Sheidt, 19, 218 Coventry, Mount Prospect; John O'Connor, 20, 221 Westmere, Des Plaines; Kathleen McArthur, 17, 2974 Brookview, Palatine; Jenifer Pritchard, 18, 2268 N. Circle Drive, Palatine; Alexander Keresi, 19, 801 Waltz Court, Prospect Heights; Bradley Preusker, 19, 203 Lonsdale, Prospect Heights; and James Franklin, 17, 60 N. Westgate, Des Plaines. Their court date is Dec. 18.

• Vandals entered the offices of state Sen. Dan Kotowski, 1100 W. Northwest Hwy., Suite 114, between 1 p.m. Nov. 6 and 9 a.m. Nov. 7. They disconnected the server, Internet wireless router and the line feed. Nothing appeared to be missing, and there was apparently nothing sensitive on the server. Kotowski is the state senator from the 33rd District.

• A home on the 800 block of Cedar Lane was broken into between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. Nov. 7; stolen was a semi-automatic handgun with 17 rounds of 9 mm ammunition, a digital camera, laptop computer, cuff links, gold 1992 Southwestern University class ring, and a pair of boots. Total loss was estimated at $2,945.

• A 2006 Dodge Caravan on the 3000 block of Lynn Court was broken into overnight Nov. 6-7; a satellite radio with docking station, three pairs of sunglasses, 10 CDs, and a garage door opener were taken. Total loss was estimated at $1,400.

• Burglars broke into eight vehicles overnight Nov. 8-9 on the 2300 block of Cannon Drive, 2300 block of South Lexington, 2200 block of Delaware, 200 block of North Westgate Road, 500 block of Enterprise Drive, and the 900 block of Centennial Drive. Stolen items included three MP3 players, three GPS units, 30 CDs, a radar detector, two briefcases and an in-dash stereo. Total loss was estimated at $4,600.

• Burglars broke into a 1994 Acura Vigor on the 1700 block of Forest Cove Drive overnight Nov. 7-8; a speaker box was stolen. Total loss was estimated at $700.

• Burglars broke into a 1999 Chrysler Cirrus on the 300 block of Hawthorne and a 1999 Chevrolet Lumina on the 1700 block of Forest Cove Drive and stole an in-dash radio/CD player out of each vehicle between 9:30 p.m. Nov. 6 and 4 p.m. Nov. 7. Total loss was estimated at $1,250.

Rolling Meadows

• A 2001 Ford Explorer on the 2400 block of Golf Road was burglarized between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27 and 6 a.m. Oct. 28; a blue jacket, tool set and gift card were stolen. The loss was estimated at $185.

• A woman stole Star Wars collectibles valued at $50 from Wal-Mart, 1460 Golf Road, around 4 p.m. Nov. 3; she fled with a male accomplice in a green Pontiac Grand Am coupe after he pushed a security agent.

• Lawrence Diestelow, 57, 1140 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, was arrested around 10 a.m. Nov. 5 and charged with criminal trespass at Jewel-Osco, 3000 Kirchoff Road; a security agent saw him in the store though he had been banned previously. A court date was not available.

• Burglars broke into a 2004 Ford pickup truck on the 100 block of New Castle Court overnight Nov. 5-6 and stole a laptop computer. Total loss was estimated at $400.

Wheeling

• Burglars broke into a 1999 Ford Escort parked at a store on the 800 block of West Dundee Road between 6:35 and 6:40 p.m. Nov. 7 and stole a backpack. Total loss was estimated at $80.

• Burglars stole a radar detector, cosmetics, portable CD player and 75 CDs out of an unlocked 1993 Buick Century on the 1600 block of Longbow Court overnight Nov. 7-8. Loss was estimated at $550.

• Someone broke into a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan parked at a restaurant on the 240 block of South Milwaukee Avenue between 4:45 and 11:23 p.m. Nov. 8; a purse worth about $100 was stolen.

• Felipe Obrajero, 23, 611 Piper Lane, Apt. 2B, Prospect Heights, was arrested around 3:25 a.m. Nov. 9 at Milwaukee Avenue and Industrial Lane and charged with traffic violations, illegal transportation of open alcohol and aggravated driving under the influence. His court date is Dec. 18.

• A storage locker in an apartment building on the 400 block of Manda Lane was broken into Oct. 31-Nov. 8; clothes and children's games worth $200 were taken.
