Grant writing sessions offered at center

The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago is offering a Professional Development Workshop from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Forest View Education Center, 2121 S. NWC offers flu shots

Northwest Community Hospital offers flu shot clinics and has flu vaccines available. Flu shot clinics will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Buffalo Grove Village Hall, 50 Raupp Blvd., Buffalo Grove and by appointment only Friday, Nov. 4 at the Wheeling Township Community Center, 1616 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. To schedule an appointment, call (847) 259-7730. Flu shots are available without an appointment at the NCH treatment centers for adults and children ages 9 and older. To schedule an appointment at a treatment center, call (847) 618-3700.
