Cook County tax appeal dates set

Property owners in Elk Grove Township can file assessment appeals with the Cook County Board of Review between Wednesday, Oct. 15, and Monday, Dec. 1. Helpful evidence can include a photo of the person's property, proof of recent sale prices of similar properties, a real estate appraisal, assessed valuation of comparable properties in the neighborhood, and evidence if flood, fire, or other damage.
