Antique Show was so disappointing
The first "Antique Show" at the new Lake County Fairgrounds was today, Sunday Oct. 12th. Wow, what a mess. No road markings for in or out; no signs either; no parking stripes on the blacktop; parking lot way too small as it is; at least 15 extra people to wave you this way or that; no handicap parking at all, they just tried to put you near the front row; no outside vendor area except a couple on a tiny area to one side, which you could not access til you went through the building; no doors open inside to get air, (somebody might get in without paying); and a bad layout inside.
What would they do with a bigger crowd? Does Zurko's need the money so badly that they couldn't wait til the grounds are finished? At least I hope that will solve the problems; it just doesn't seem big enough right now.
I want my $5 back and we won't go again to that venue.
Lake County seems to have so much extra money to spend on dozens of new stoplights being installed where they are not needed, how about finishing the work at the fairgrounds before opening it up for business? No big deal you say? Well, if you read this, you got away from politics and the economy for a few minutes. Your welcome.
