Attempted abduction in Woodridge

Police in Woodridge are looking for a man who tried to abduct a 12-year-old girl.

Investigators say he stopped the girl Monday morning as she was walking to school. The girl ran away.

The man is described as in his mid 60s with balding, gray hair, wrinkles all over his face, a thin mustache and he is missing front lower teeth. He also wore sunglasses and a diamond stud ear ring in his right ear.
