Lost cat finds home in Mt. Prospect

A Mount Prospect woman reports a happy ending for a congenial 12-year-old cat named Buddy, left behind when his owners moved away from Bunting Lane.

As reported here last week, Judi DiPillo originally sought the owners of the cat. But after the owners didn't show up to claim the cat, it became eligible for adoption. It went home on Thursday to a family who knew of the cat and already loved it, DiPillo said.

Buddy now has two dogs as house companions, who he reportedly loves, she added.
