Buffalo Garden Club: The club has awarded a scholarship for $3,000 to Curtis Pomilia, a 2006 graduate of Buffalo Grove High School and currently a third-year student at Indiana University, where he is majoring in Environmental Studies and Spanish. He is the son of Nadine Pomilia of Buffalo Grove. The Garden Club scholarship is given each year to post secondary students in the fields of landscape, horticulture, agriculture, environment, horticulture or related fields.
