2 teens injured in Mt. Prospect blaze

Two teenagers were hospitalized after a fire ripped through their Mount Prospect home around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities say they were taken to Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview but don't believe their injuries to be life-threatening.

The fire caused an estimated $150,000 in damage and left the split-level house at 1512 Larch Drive uninhabitable, authorities said.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
