October Computer Programs: Registration for the Mount Prospect Library's October computer programs continues through September. The slate of computer programs will help patrons sharpen their Internet and e-mail usage skills, create documents with Microsoft Word, and provide an introduction to computers for novice users. Literary Review: The Literary Review Book Club of Des Plaines will present five luncheon/book reviews at noon Fridays, Oct. 10, Nov. 14, Feb. 13, March 13 and May 8 at the Des Plaines Elks Club, 495 Lee St., Des Plaines.
