Warrenville police searching for missing man

Warrenville police are searching for a missing person who disappeared from his home Monday.

James Schmidt, 24, was last seen at his Warrenville home at 3 p.m. on Sept. 22, police said. His vehicle was last seen in the driveway at his residence on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at approxmately 7 a.m.

He is suspected to be driving a yellow 2003 Ford Focus hatchback bearing Illinois registration 5024747.

He is 5-feet, 11-inches tall, about 180 pounds, with blond hair and brown eyes.

There is no apparent direction of travel, or clothing description, police said.
