Roselle water rate increase:
This summer, Roselle trustees passed a local law increasing the water rate. The new rate will be effective for bills prepared in November for October water consumption. The rate will increase 20 cents per 1,000 gallons. Village officials said in a statement that the increase is a direct pass-on of a rate increase from the DuPage Water Commission. The village buys Lake Michigan water from the commission.
