Des Plaines

• A red 2002 Nissan Xterra, value unknown, was stolen from an office building lot on the 1400 block of East Touhy Avenue between Sept. 13-20.

• A 2006 Hyundai Tucson was broken into in an apartment lot on the 1100 block of Holiday Lane, between 7 and 7:20 p.m. Sept. 20; a GPS unit worth about $460 was stolen.

• Anthony J. Grill, 25, 901 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines, was arrested around 8:35 p.m. Sept. 20 and charged with disorderly conduct after a woman leaving her apartment building on the 600 block of Pearson Street saw him yelling obscenities at cars traveling on Pearson. He turned around, began swearing at her, chased her back to her apartment building and pounded on the front door. His court date is Oct. 31.

Elk Grove Village

• Vandals got onto the roof at Graphic Packaging International, 1441 Jarvis Ave., and broke three skylight windows worth about $1,500, between 3 p.m. Sept. 20 and 8:15 a.m. Sept. 22.

• A home on the 500 block of Charing Cross Road was burglarized between 2:30 and 6 p.m. Sept. 18 and a $300 computer tower stolen.

Mount Prospect

• BB gun pellets shattered a 6-by-8-foot plate glass window at a vacant business on the 0-100 block of North Main Street overnight Sept. 18-19. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

• Vandals hurled rocks that shattered two 4-by-6-foot classroom windows at the Mount Prospect Park District building, 411 S. Maple St., between 8 p.m. Sept. 19 and 6:50 a.m. Sept. 20. Damage was estimated at $800.

• An exterior brick wall at Robert Frost School, 1805 Aspen Drive, was vandalized with spray paint between 5 p.m. Sept. 19 and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 20. Damage was estimated at $200.

• A 2005 Toyota Corolla in an apartment lot on the 1800 block of West Palm Drive was broken into overnight Sept. 20-21 and store a GPS unit. Damage to the vehicle and the theft was estimated at $1,050.

• A 2006 Hyundai Tucson was broken into in an apartment lot on the 1100 block of Holiday Lane, between 7 and 7:20 p.m. Sept. 20; a GPS unit worth about $460 was stolen.
