Judge describes 'extensive' Peterson surveillance
A Will County judge says he's in possession of an "extensive" amount of evidence detailing surveillance of former police officer Drew Peterson.
A published repor says Judge Richard Schoenstedt disclosed the existence of the CDs, DVDs and tapes during a pretrial hearing Thursday. Peterson's attorneys asked for information on electronic surveillance police may have conducted on Peterson.
Peterson, a former Bolingbrook police officer, faces two felonies related to a semiautomatic rifle seized by authorities investigating the 2007 disappearance of his wife, Stacy.
Peterson has repeatedly denied involvement her disappearance or the 2004 death of his third wife Kathleen Savio, whose body was found in her bathtub.
Meanwhile, a publicist confirmed Peterson granted interviews for a book titled "Drew Peterson Exposed" by Derek Armstrong.
