Briefs: Aurora man killed in crash
Brian Wilkerson, 32, of Aurora, was one of three people killed early Sunday in a one-vehicle crash in LaSalle County, authorities said. A Dodge pickup truck went into a ditch just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday near Allen Township on County Highway 39, according to the LaSalle County sheriff's office. The truck rolled over several times and four occupants were ejected. LaSalle County Coroner Jody Bernard said Tuesday that Wilkerson suffered injuries "consistent with an automobile mishap and ejection." Bernard said toxicology results were not yet complete. Authorities said Wilkerson, 19-year-old Natalie Spear of Oak Lawn and 23-year-old Jordan Hill of Ransom all were pronounced dead at the accident scene early Sunday. The fourth victim was airlifted to OSF Saint Francis Hospital in Peoria.
