Sociable Singles special event: Day trip to tour "Ten Chimneys" in Genessee Depot, Wisc. Depart 8:30 a.m. Carpools will be arranged. Tour cost is $30 per person; $35 if less than 20 people. Optional lunch after in Genesee Depot. Ten Chimneys is the estate created by theater legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne. It is open to the public as a world-class house museum and national resource for theater, arts and art education. New Beginnings Labor Day picnic: 11 a.m. Sept. 1, Tyler Creek Forest Preserve, Rout 31, south of I90 in Elgin. Bring a dish to share for eight, your own beverages, and New Beginnings will provide the hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, buns and condiments. Includes games, raffles. All invited, rain or shine.
