• David Keyes, son of Debbie and Dewey Keyes of Elk Grove Village, graduated on May 3 from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and kinesiology. He is a June 2003 graduate of Conant High School in Hoffman Estates.

• Frankie Gorg, son of Frank and Mary Gorg of Mount Prospect, completed his freshman year at Illinois Wesleyan University, making the dean's list for the fall and spring semesters

• Sean Mincey of Arlington Heights was named to the dean's list at the University of Iowa for the spring semester of 2008.

• Jessica A. Gibas of Long Grove has recently been named to the dean's list at Boston University in Boston, Mass., for the spring semester.

• Davin S. Patel, son of Suresh and Shilpa Patel of Elk Grove Village, has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2008 semester at St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Patel is a 2005 graduate of James B. Conant High School.

• Lauren Rust, daughter of Jim and Pat Rust of Des Plaines, graduated Magnum Cum Laude and with dean's list recognition from DePaul University in June 15. Lauren plans to pursue a career in child development and psychology. She is a 2003 graduate of Maine West High School.

• Ryan Beck, son of Thomas and Carolyn Beck of Elk Grove Village was one of several students recently honored for their achievements in Valparaiso University's Department of Chemistry. Beck is a senior biology and chemistry major and was inducted into the chemistry honors society Phi Lambda Upsilon.

• Sarah Anne Taylor, daughter of Timothy and Jo Ellyn Taylor of Mount Prospect, has earned a bachelor of science degree in animal science with highest honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in August. She was a James Scholar as well as a Bronze Tablet recipient.

• Christine D. Stoczanyn daughter of John and Diana Stoczanyn of Arlington Heights, has been named to the dean's list with honors for the spring 2008 semester at St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She is a 2005 graduate of Buffalo Grove High School.

• Mary Kate Daday, a 2005 graduate from The Willows Academy in Des Plaines, was one of 45 student athletes from St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, to be named to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletics Association academic honor roll, for the 2007-2008 year. Mary Kate will be a co-captain of the swim team this year.
