Immunization Clinics for Children: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays; 1-3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; 1-6 p.m. Thursdays; and 9-11 a.m. the second Saturday of each month, Lake County Health Department Belvidere Medical Building Annex, 2303 Dodge Avenue, Waukegan. Children can receive all routine childhood immunizations. The cost of an immunization is $10, but no one is denied services due to inability to pay. Fight Back Express: 8:45-9:45 a.m. July 25, YWCA Lake County, 2133 Belvidere Road, Waukegan. Cross-country bus tour urges people to join the fight against cancer. Visitors have the chance to share their story with members of Congress through the Picture A Cure program and sign a petition to support access to quality health care for all Americans. Girls' Self-Defense Workshop: 1-4 p.m. July 26, Vernon Area Public Library District, 300 Olde Half Day Road, Lincolnshire. Alzheimer's Family Support Group: 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 29, room 137 of the Lake County Health Department, 3012 Grand Ave., Waukegan. The meeting is designed for family members who care for Alzheimer's sufferers, and will include information on disease specifics, current research, practical care techniques and community resources. Red Cross Babysitting: Register at least two weeks before class. 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 13, Grayslake Park District Rec Center, 240 Commerce Drive. The American Red Cross Babysitter's Training Course, for ages 11 to 15. Will help participants develop skills in leadership, safety and safe play, basic care, first aid, and professionalism. Blood Pressure Testing: The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center will offer blood pressure testing and education for adults at no charge to Lake County residents at the following times and places:

• County Building, 18 N. County St., Waukegan, 10:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 4
