We must lift ban on offshore drilling

I laud Al Gore's service to our nation. But yet I find fault with his vision and solution to a man-made crisis.

Too much is at stake to embrace vain solutions.

We must proceed wisely or risk the devastating consequences of hurting the most poor of our nation and decimating the glue of our society - the middle class American - to no end.

So I propose achieving our goals without reeking havoc throughout the marketplaces and ultimately wrecking our economy.

The collapse of our economy would have a ripple effect on world economies and more suffering of the poor.

So I challenge Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi to lift the ban on offshore drilling now.

Are they so blind not to see the effect the president's order to lift of the ban on offshore drilling has had on the market already?

The price of a barrel of oil has dropped. To continue this momentum, Congress has to call a vote now.

Two people stand in the way of this vote. If this vote is not allowed, it will be evident that Nancy Pelosi and Harry Ried care nothing about the poor of this nation and just don't give a darn about middle class Americans.
