Prospect parents offer football deal

The Prospect Parents Football Council of Prospect High School have formed the Friday Knights Tailgate Club program for football parents, family and friends. Membership includes preferred parent seating, tickets to each regular season home/away game at District 214 schools via the district's quick pass program, a Knights seat cushion and a pre-game meal (main dish and non alcoholic drinks provided; bring dessert or side dish to share) Cost: Single, $75; couple, $140; three people, $200 and four people, $250. Terry Moran Family Day rescheduled

The Terry Moran Family Day and Softball Tournament scheduled for July 19 was canceled due to flooding at Kimball Hill Park. The softball tournaments have been rescheduled for Aug. 23 to coincide with the Rolling Meadows 50th Anniversary celebration at Kimball Hill. Forum will focus on resource center

Schaumburg Township Disability Services, AgeOptions (The Suburban Area Agency on Aging) and Progress Center for Independent Living will host a representation meeting from 1:30- 3:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at Schaumburg Township, 1 Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates. Those with interest in the needs of older adults and persons with disabilities are invited to attend the discussion on developing a suburban aging and disability resource center.
