Do we like McCain being McCain?

McCain is an expert on world affairs (or so says McCain).

Why then does he not know that Czechoslovakia was dissolved 15 years ago?

Why does he have still have trouble distinguishing between Shia and Sunnis?

Why does he think Iran is training Sunnis?

Why does he mock Obama for not going to Iraq and Afghanistan and then trivialize him when he does?

Why does he reject the demand of the Maliki government for a timetable for leaving Iraqi? I guess that sovereign government of Iraq really isn't so sovereign after all.

McCain is the veteran of all veterans (or so says McCain). Why did he not support the new GI Bill for the those who have born the brunt of Bush's folly?

Why did he object to increased funding for the VA?

McCain is a champion of children (or so says McCain). Then, why did he vote against expanding health insurance for children and uphold the Bush veto of the bill?

McCain is a champion of women (or so says McCain). Why then does he not support equal health care treatment for women and men?

Why does he not believe a woman has the right to choose what she does with her own body?

Why does he vote against every women's issue when given the chance?

McCain apologists offer that telling jokes about rape and killing Iranians by sending them more cigarettes is just McCain being McCain instead of referring to it as scandalous and inane (respectively).

It strikes me that McCain being McCain reveals the exact flawed character that this country doesn't need another four years of.
