Enough is enough on tax increases

Dan Seals wants to raise your taxes.

He accepts campaign money from one of the biggest tax-and-spend Democrats in Congress, Charles Rangel (D- New York), and he openly supports Rahm Emmanuel's plan to raise the capital gains tax to 35 percent.

When it's all added up, Seals' supporters in Washington and Illinois are looking to levy 20 new tax increases at the federal, state and local levels.

How much more of this can we tolerate? Seals and his allies think the residents of the 10th District should be paying much more in taxes. We know that is just not right.

We have a choice in November. Our incumbent Congressman, Mark Kirk, has been a leader in holding the line on taxes. Kirk knows we are paying more than our fair share. Kirk knows this assault on our pocketbooks must stop.

There is only one way to make sure that our voices are heard. We need a congressman who will stand up for us and say, "Enough is enough!"
