Huntley wages ComEd fight
Huntley will continue fighting ComEd's plans to build new transmission lines along Kreutzer Road. The village will object to an July 11 ruling in ComEd's favor, Assistant Village Manager Dave Johnson said Friday. "We don't believe that the impact on our residents is accurately reflected in the order," Johnson said. The deadline for parties to object is Aug. 1, but the village has asked for more time to file its objection. "Either way, we're moving forward," Johnson said. The ruling will not be final until the Illinois Commerce Commission issues its final decision, probably later this summer.
