Paramedics, police officer thanked

We as a family want to publicly thank the paramedic crew of the Roselle Fire Department, as well as the police officer, who responded to our 911 emergency on May 29 at about 11:20 p.m. If not for them, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather Joseph Bonnan could have not celebrated Father's Day 2008!

Words are never adequate at a time like this, but know that without the skills, compassion and care they exhibited that night, we would not know the joys of each day that we have with him.

We have had the privilege of interaction with the fire and police department personnel as active members of the community for some time, but never entertained the idea that we would one day need them in the manner in which we did recently. Our gratitude is boundless and we also thank those responsible for their training and the standards they obviously hold themselves to.
