Vernon Hills P.O. to help with passports

A Passport Fair will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Vernon Hills Post Office, 675 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills.

There is a fee, payable to Passport Services, of $75 for adults and $60 for children under 16 and a $25 execution fee for all applicants payable to Postmaster. Passport photos will be available on site for $15.

Applicants must bring a certified birth certificate (includes official seal) and current driver's license or state ID card or naturalization certificate if a naturalized citizen. All applicants must bring two 2-inch-by-2-inch photos if not purchasing photos on-site.

Both parents need to be present if children are under 16.
