Briefs: Enjoy knitting with others

Support meeting offered

The monthly meeting for the DuPage County chapter of Parents Of Murdered Children will be 6 to 8 p.m. June 12 in Wheaton. This month's speaker is Suzanne W. Keenon of the Fox Valley Institute, who will talk about the grieving process and couples' grief. The parents group meets the second Thursday of each month in the DuPage County state's attorney's office at 503 N. County Farm Road, off Manchester Road, in Wheaton. Raku Day returns

Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles will have its 15th annual Raku Day and Open House June 13 and 14. The festivities start June 13, when the public can learn to glaze pottery made by Fine Line staff from 5 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $40 and includes a picnic dinner and a $15 coupon. 'Passport' to museums

The Geneva History Center, 113 S. Third St., is participating in the Passports to Adventure program from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Children 4 to 12 collect stamps in a booklet by visiting museums throughout the suburbs; they are eligible for prizes. The booklet is available at the history center. Forty museums participate.
