U.S. should not grovel before Israel
Barack Obama recently did any presidential candidate's ritual, groveling to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
I cannot recall if John McCain did his groveling, but if he hasn't already, he soon will.
Why do American politicians grovel to Israel? Are we not the country that gives Israel $8 billion in foreign aid every year? They should grovel to America, not vice versa.
American politicians should follow our own foreign policy interests and not those of a foreign government.
Israel and AIPAC should have absolutely no say in running our Mid East policies.
While we're at it, can we have a more balanced media in regards to the Middle East? The pro-Israeli slant is so pronounced that it insults the public's intelligence.
