Briefs: Health fair at Yorktown

Meet television stars and learn fitness tips today at the Score 1 for Men's Health fitness fair at Yorktown Shopping Center in Lombard. Dave Mellish and Andrea Metcalf of Fit Today TV will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fair will feature free health assessments including diabetes, hearing, arthritis and blood pressure screenings.

DuPage Fair entry deadline

The deadline for entries mailed to the DuPage County Fair is fast approaching. Paper entries must be postmarked by June 15, though the fair for the first time this year is accepting online entries for exhibitors. Online entries are accepted through July 1. Call (630) 668-6636 for more information.

Winfield fundraiser

The preschool classes at Winfield Primary School raised $160 during a fundraiser sponsored by the police department to benefit Special Olympics Illinois.

Baseball tournament set
