Geneva Christmas Walk and House Tour

FRIDAY

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Annual Christmas Walk Used Book Sale in the library's lower level meeting room, 127 James St.

10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Tea and Craft Sale at First Congregational Church, 327 Hamilton St. House tour ticket holders get hot tea, coffee and an assortment of homemade Christmas cookies. Tickets for the Tea and Craft Sale only will be available for $3 at the door. 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Christmas House Tour; tickets are $28 in advance or $30 at the door.

11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Geneva Giving Trees at the Geneva History Center, 113 S. Third St.

4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva, Second and James streets, will host its annual Cookie Walk.

6 p.m. Opening ceremonies on the stage across from the courthouse lawn, South Third and James streets.

6 to 9:30 p.m. Santa at the Gingerbread house, James and South Third streets.

6 to 9 p.m. Marshmallow Toasting at Country Naturals, 316 Campbell St.

6 to 9 p.m. "Frosting Shots" at The Latest Crave, 227 S. Third St.

6 to 10 p.m. Free Christmas Walk on South Third Street, across from the courthouse.

6 to 10 p.m. Candy Cane Pull at Graham's Chocolate, 302 S. Third St.

6:30 to 9 p.m. Geneva Evangelical Lutheran Church youth will present a living Nativity, 30-minute tableau-style scenes at three settings at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. at Third and Franklin streets. Donations of canned food and cash will be accepted for charity.

7 to 8:30 p.m. St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Fourth and Franklin, presents "Carols by Candlelight"

SATURDAY

9 to 11 a.m. Breakfast with Santa at Kim's Black Belt Academy, 33W624 Roosevelt Road, West Chicago. Bring a new unwrapped toy for Toys For Tots. To R.S.V.P., call (630) 232-4070.

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Annual Christmas Walk Used Book Sale at library, 127 James St. Bag sale starts at noon.

10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Christmas Tea and Craft Sale at First Congregational Church.

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Christmas House Tour.

SUNDAY

6 p.m. St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Fourth and Franklin streets, will present a dramatic reading of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," followed by a reception with an English tea. All proceeds from this family-friendly event will benefit St. Mark's Church Music Department. Tickets are available for $10 for adults and $5 for children age 5 and younger.
